This is more of a dark trap type beat similar to Blessings instrumental by Big Sean featuring Drake and Kanye West. The is a lot of space in the track for a rapper to aggressively tackle. The track features busy snares hits, busy high hats and aggressive moving 808 kicks that really the speakers booming.
I like making dark seedy instrumentals and this one I feel it captures a Drake and Big Sean type beat but still has tons of room for the rap artist to go mad on. The rap instrumentals that were on Big Sean's Dark Sky Paradise was a big influence for the production of the beat, even though Big Sean doesn't really do a lot of dark rap tracks I feel that Dark sky paradise had these types of trap beats on that album.
